A goodie box arrived today with a pre- production hood from X2GUY,thanks X2GUY for shopping around on the shipping and for selling me this pre -production hood ,this is going to make my job a lot easier on making this plug.Guys if the work on this hood is an indication of what the final production piece is going to look like then you will be well pleased with his work,it looks awesome! I only trimmed the back section as I need a flange to do the vacuum bagging with on the new one piece hood.

The plan is to incorporate this into the plug for the hood mold, then when I am done with the plug ,I will cut it back out and finish it up for use on the Mach 5.

Cool build...the rotax motors put out some pretty good power..plus it doesn't weigh a ton. Should be interesting to see.

Interesting build , My question is , if your making a full one piece carbon fiber hood/steering section , why do you need the brace?

    Keep up the good work.

There is no available exhaust that will allow fitting the 787 into the X2,I can fab up a lot of stuff but exhaust pipes are not one of those things I can just whip up.You are saying everyone has seen a 720 in an X2 ? You mean this one and only one of a kind I have here, they must have dropped by one day when I wasn't here then.
