    I would try reprogramming the lanyard ( or a new lanyard ) into the mpem if I knew all of my fuses, grounds and connections were good and I had a new battery installed. I am with WFO on this as I too have needed to reprogram lanyards to mpem's to get them working correctly again.

    this is exactly what happened to me today.
    Once I found the second wire and connected it, everything powered up and worked.

    The negative battery post on many models has 2 wires going to it. The fat neg battery cable and a 2nd smaller black wire running from your rear electric box to battery ground. If the 2nd black wire is not hooked up you will get the problems you are having. Maybe you missed the 2nd wire when changing batteries?
