I assume because you're from Las Vegas you are enquiring about Lake Mead and Lake Mohave.

From Jan 1st 2013, two stroke carburetored jet ski's will not be allowed on NPS governed lakes which include Lakes Mead & Mohave.

The ban does not afffect 4 stroke & 2 stroke DI PWC's.

So will it have to be DI or will EFI be OK too. Cali did this however it is not on use only sales, as it has to be DI in order to be sold here, however you can operate everything (except Tahoe). Makes no sense!!!

    I'll simplify it.

From Jan 1st 2013, two stroke carburetored jet ski's will not be allowed on NPS governed lakes which include Lakes Mead & Mohave. Everything else is exempt.

However, it will interesting to see how its to be enforced.

It is ok as of today...there are no laws even being talked about a ban at Havasu.....but that does not mean someone is not working on a ban of 2 strokes....Lee

that is the dumbest law i have ever heard of. so its ok to have all those speed boats that pollute the waters way more than any ski ever will on the lakes. whats up with that?
