You read my mind Craig...I just woke up to a beautiful Havasu sunrise and was thinking of Mr. Hoyland....as well as his family, and of course all of his close friends who are back here working themselves to the bone on the event. It's got to be very difficult for them all; my thoughts go out to them too.

Re: Jeremy Hoyland - Hold on my friend...

It's October 24th, one year ago Jeremy Hoyland went missing in Bali. I am at home with the K38 Poland team and we drank a toast, and talked story about Jeremy. A year seems like forever. We are chatting about the rememberance ceremony held at the IJSBA World Finals on Sunday Morning the 18th, and never a race goes by I don't think about him. World Finals, I kept looking at the starting line, and Simon was there, Jeremy was missing. Thank you Simon for your kindness and gentle spirit this year, it was heavy on all our staff's hearts and we had a lot of great stories to tell!

Hey ...we have been really busy with racing. However I from time to time remember Jeremy when Luke and I are on the line and remember what a really solid person he was.

I hope his wife and daughters are going well and just want to say that we are still thinking of Jeremy.

Re: Jeremy Hoyland - Hold on my friend...

Just reading through this post Jeremy sounds like a stand up guy and he is clearly missed. I never had the chance to meet him in person but I am reminded of somthing that my friends om said at his funeral (he died in an avalance) "If there is one thing that carries me through this it is Kyle died doing the thing that he loved most the thing that made him smile whenever he talked about it and nothing would have stopped him from going out into the mountains that day or any" hope this helps a bit if any.

    RIP Jeremy

Just want to ask all the riders that will race to think about Jeremy and his family when they are on the start line.
He did so much for the racers with his great style and engagement.
    Please remember Jeremy Hoyland.
