Hey! You're talking about a world class jet ski builder here... If I were you, I'd cool those jets!

Yeah since I work on skis every day, when its time to ride my ski the last thing I want to do is work on it.

Put it in the water yesterday, runs like a bat out of hell but , I have a little too much compression for pump gas and its detonating like a biotch !

Anyway I went yesterday and got some Sunoco 112 blue race gas , that mixed with the 93 will give me around 100 octane, if it will run on 100 octane I will just run 100LL in it.

    Hey guys!
How did it work? I know I'm 7 years late but I want to do the same thing!
Did you find the sweet spot for the handle bars? Both in hight and position lengthwise?
    Great ski!!!

Re: 650sx conversion ski fixed steering

I ended up getting some kind of aftermarket x2 steering post and installed it, it's in the right position for me at 5ft 9 in

Coul you give me some reference points? Where did the actual handle bar ended up, right on top the hood latch or further to the front? I did notice you installed some sort of mountain bike looking spacer to get the handle bars to the back...
