Is the 115 main too lean for 4000 ft? Should I start with a 120?
Start with FPP specs. If anything it will be a turn or so on the adjuster. Your impeller pitch at that altitude will need adjusting.

Re: Real tuning specs Factory Wet Pipe -750

trying to see if anyone has tried or knows someone running a limited setup SXi with factory pipe and dual 42 mm sudco carbs. I had no idea where to start so just threw in the stock 38 keihin carbs back on started on the rich side and eventually ended up at fpp specs off their website it is running pretty good using stock 75 low 1 1/2 turns out and 125 high 3/4 turn out stock needle and seat. since the 42 is the same setup needle wise shouldn't these same specs on the 38's be a good starting spot once I swap them over? I think I still need to lean out the pipe a little to gain the top end. I thought she was running real nice has great power out of the hole compared to my brothers stock SX but top end wise I was dead even with him so I haven't gained anything on the top end if anything I've lost some speed.

Re: Real tuning specs Factory Wet Pipe -750

Working on a buddy's 1995 sxi with a sx single keihin carb. I tried FPP recommended jetting specs for a sx setup.
    Main jet : 155
    Pilot Jet : 88
High speed screw : 7/8 turn out from closed
Low speed screw : 5/8 turn out from closed
    Needle & Seat : Stock
    Spring : Stock

Running it on the trailer it bogs out bad. Has any one dropped the 88 pilot down to say 80 with success?
