Re: Real tuning specs Factory Wet Pipe -750

I built a 750 x2 with twin 44 mikuni's...I would not recommend any lower than 95 lows ski is currently 95 low and 135 high...two turns out on the low and 1 1/2 out on high...pop off set @ 18 psi...ski runs fine but the next time carbs are off I'm going to up the low to 100 or 110 ...the reason your ski is reving is because of a lean condition...fatten it up on the low and you'll be good.. at least start where I'm at ...the ski has run this way a whole season!!!!

I have an 01 sxipro, sxr carbs, factory wet pipe, lightend flywheel, msd ignition, ada head (185psi), water injection, vforce reeds, nd prok arrestors, i had an 80 pilot, nd my ski was really fat on the bottom, i took it down to a 75, at 1.5 turns out nd it hits hard off the bottom now!! im also at about 600-1000 feet elevation.

    93 750 SX

40 mm Keihin, Aftermarket Flame Arrestor.

Factory Limited Wet Pipe w/Stock Waterbox.

    Low Speed Jet 80 @ 1 1/8 out

    High Speed Jet 155 @ 7/8 out

800-900 Feet Above Sea Level, 83 Degrees, High Humidity, Michigan.

Ski Absolutely Rips! If nothing else I'm going to lean out the water injected into the exhaust.

I had forgotten about this thread but after changing jets, those are pretty much the settings I run right now in GA. I'm running low at 1.5 turns and high at 1 turn. I think it's actually a little rich but better than a little lean especially since the water is getting really warm down here.
