    F-12 Getting Water in Oil

What is the most llikely cause of getting water in the engine oil? Ski runs great but oil starts to turn milky after a couple of hours run time.

Little more info is needed. Has it been upside down for amount of time? Has it been cold where you are at i.e. water freezing in motor??????
    More info please.

The unit has never been underwater nor in freezing conditions. It blew a cylinder big time several months ago and was repaired by local Honda dealer but I only recently have ridden it enough to discover the problem. Honda isn't offering any help.

sounds like the dealer messed up, id say its a headgasket. Take it back to them and have them repair it.

i didnt even know our skis had oil coolers on them. Shows how much I know. Reason I said headgasket is because chances are if you has any cylinder work done then the head was removed for maintenance.

Could be a bad turbo too, I sold one to a guy in cali and he said the turbo was letting water in to the oil, I doubt water and oil is mixing from head gasket, if it was blown that bad it wouldent run good, the water jackets go all the way around the cylinder so Id say water would go in to cylinders too causing it to hydro lock and all kinds of other stuff would be happening. Head gasket is possable tho...... do a compression test, leakdown

You said the dealer has been into the motor before. I'm by no means an expert but after taking mine apart I'd agree with Taquin. Looking at my o-rings I wouldn't reuse them. The ones on the oil cooler were just about flat.
