Have any of you out there find that you get extremly wet when rideing this machine? I've owned several other ski's and don't remeber getting this soaked. I've noticed that Hydro Turf has a splash guard, and im woundering if anybody has ever used one of these, and if so how does it work? Thanks

Re: Are you getting soaked on your Aquatrax?
If you didn't want to get wet then why get a PWC? Should have just bought a boat.....Some people are like slinkies - Not really good for anything, but bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Re: Are you getting soaked on your Aquatrax?
First off "Dude" I know your going to get wet, I've owned 5 different jetski's, what im saying is the water is coming directly from the front and right in your face and eye's. I wasn't sure if this is normal for this ski or am I the only one who is making a big deal about it?see? I don't understand why you are even writing me, you don't even own a "Honda"

Re: Are you getting soaked on your Aquatrax?
It is the wettest ski I have operated. I have been on seadoo's and I had a yamaha. I love my Honda, but I hate getting blasted in the face with spray. I have not tried it personally, but the splash shields that mount on the front rub rail work great, from what i have heard. Use the search function on this page, and you can find more information about them...

Re: Are you getting soaked on your Aquatrax?
I had the same problem on my LRV 4 seater. I cant believe that someone would build a pwc that you can actually get an occasional splash on you!
I built a perspex enclosure that screws to the deck and has a sealed hatch for easy access. I also wear a dry suit and carry a roll of paper towels in case some water finds its way through the silicone caulking.our home is girt by sea

Re: Are you getting soaked on your Aquatrax?
I get wet from time to time but really dont pay it no mind. It only seems to happen when i have a full tank of fuel and gear in the front storage compartment. If ive used up some fuel then I have a nice dry ride.2008 RXP-X. R&D Intake Grate/Riva FF Exhaust/4 inch intake/83mm nozzle. Mine

Grow up guys. He didn't ask for any "oh my god I hate couches" bashing. He wants an honest opinion from people who know. Yes, the Honda is extremely wet and it will get annoying in chop and downright ridiculous in the ocean. However, I have heard that the splash guard goes a long way to correct the problem.2006 FX High Output

Re: Are you getting soaked on your Aquatrax?
I know what you are talking about I have the Hydro Turf and it is great it comes with rivets but go to lowes and get some SS nuts washers and bolts it will hold up better it is a tight fit getting the washers and nuts on if you have big hands but it is worth it.

Re: Are you getting soaked on your Aquatrax?
I think you should keep the ski on the trailer and in your garage.
I bet that will reduce the amount of water spray on your hair do.
These Personal WATER Craft sure are pesky contraptions.

I also love zorbing.
Im thinking of selling the lrv and installing a set of handlebars on a 42' Bayliner. That way I will be totally free of water splash, still have the pwc experience and the ability to cook beef burgundy in the well equipped galley.Last edited by eel; 09-29-2007, 12:31 AM.our home is girt by sea

I'd install the handle bars in the galley so you don't get wet though on deck you can still get a splash drop or twoRaider 760

I must agree, the constant threat of a shower or storm would force me below deck.
Anyone ever try riding their Aquatrax out in the desert ??
I hear there isn't much splashing going on out in the dunes.
