This is fantastic! I need to pick up another broken ski to do this to. Are you just using a stock cam sensor with two teeth ground off?

I would suggest you invest in a knock sensor kit and tune the engine with it. As you won't match the factory fuel map exactly, you'll have to use AFR and some way of measuring knock to know how to make a safe map.

You should be able to get a decent tune with the ski in a big tank so you can simulate the pump loads at different throttle settings. Adjust the trims for temperature and you should be almost spot on.

Nice work BTW. Would you be willing to share the microsquirt setup file?

Gen-Tune posted this screenshot of a factory fuel table a while back. Look at attachment on the last post on this page:

    Hi folks!!!
I'll answered easily west- coaster. Yes, of course I would share the msq. There's no reason not to share... Why should I be in a forum. Sharing info is the aim of a forum isn't it?
As you said, there is already installed a knock sensor.. To risky dealing with tunning without one. A gm knock module with the OEM knock sensor can make the job on a microsquirt! As I recall it appears in the begging of the video, beside the AFR external gauge.
Mattjw76 I have reviewed the post you said, but couldn't find the image with the OEM ignition table. Would you mind check or ask for it to gen-tune if you have meet him sometime? Thanks
