replacing karavan trailer light bulb need help?

ok, i feel like a tard, but this trailer is also a tard. lol

i have a dbl place karavan trailer i'm trying to replace the burned out bulb and when i opened the red lens, all the bulbs are inside this buble shape casing. how in the hell do i open this? i dont want to break it open, but it seemed to be glued shut. i opened the other side to see if its the same way and sure enough it is.

does anyone have any suggestions on how to change the bulb on this trailer?

If you call Karavan at 1-920-928-6200 you can probably have the unit sent to you real Cheap. I just ordered a axle with 2 attached (ready to Go ) Hubs for my 03 GTX SC trailer for $59.00 plus shipping. The aftermarket sites wanted like $200 Plus for the same thing. Give them a call!

I used a hacksaw and cut away the "bubble" to get to the bulb. Finding a new bubble and wiring it in seemed like too much trouble to replace a bulb...

I have the same problem. One side is no longer working, and would like to open the bubble and replace with LED's. Any Advice on this...

I have the same trailer, and had the same problem. I so deeply resented the fact that I had to purchase an entire unit for 40 some odd bucks (don't remember the exact price), to replace a 50 cent bulb that I replaced the entire set of lights with LED.
