will a kawasaki ss 750 pump fit on a jet mate. i going to do a 750 conversion and was wondering if it would be easier to use a 750 pump or will only a 650 pump fit?

Docbolson - I believe you can make it work easily enough, but you would need to install a 750 / 800 pump shoe first. They are cheap, like $35-40 or so. Needs to be epoxied in place. Someone correct me if I am wrong

will any of the 650 jet ski electronics work on a jet mate? i have a fried stator and was going to just use all the electronics on a kawasaki 650 ts. I know it would not supply enough charge for the larger battery but if i didn't use the blower and bilge that much can i just hook up all the electronics from the ts and wire them into the joystick start/stop switch?

Probably a lot better chance having a local shop make one for you. Any accessories bolted on to the boat could change the design. Plus aren't they an older boat? It's hard enough finding a cover for a 550, much less something as rare as the Jetmate.

I see your in the PNW. Lots of canvas shops around us.

Thanks AirJunky, found another old post that led to a couple of covers. Will research and share the results. The custom cover is next - just needed something temporary. Rare is the truth. Most fabricators that I've contacted respond with "a what?'.

The factory that makes all Walmart boat covers is here in Little Rock. I do work for them occasionally and know the owner. He could copy them good as anyone, and fast. He runs a tight ship and uses quality material.

Just picked up these 2 Mates this weekend, got them from a guy in IL. He had a Kawasaki dealership and these sat in his shop for the past 20 something years and never sold, they have the original certificate of origin from Kawasaki, the 90 he put in the water 1 time and the 91 has never been in the water, he also had an original Jet mate cover still in the plastic and the trim tabs still new in plastic. pretty much brand new Jet Mates and he gave them to me for next to nothing.
