Anyone ditching their 4-stroke and going back to 2-stroke?

I've seen several people say that they were much happier when they got rid of their 2-strokes and went the 4-stroke route, but lately it seems like there's been a LOT of 4-strokes that have encountered major engine damage/issues (with eye opening repair bills). Are any of you guys writing off 4-strokes and going back to the smokers?

    Just a curiosity...

It takes a big man to admit when he's wrong. I am not a big man.

I'm good with the 2 strokes. 4strokes are great when they are running right, but the repair bills I've seen on friends skis are enough to keep me away.

    No.

Hey I know someone with a diesel inboard boat, and the engine broke. I think he is talking about going back to a steam engine. They were so much more reliable.......

As for me, I am going to trade in my fiberglass boat and engine for a wooden hull and a set of sails......
