Re: Gasket between jet pump and hull

I use 3 bond 1211 to seal the wear ring to the back of the jet ski. Others have also had good luck with Ultra Black sealant.

Thanks! She is getting there. I just ordered a new Solas 15.5/19.5 impeller too. Maybe this time this Shark will give my 95' XP800 a run for it's money. :)

    WTB: Daytona 1000 Sponson

I need a right side sponson for a 97' Tigershark Daytona 1000. If you are sitting on the jet ski I need the sponson that is on the right side.

    Re: Tigershark TS1100R Part Sourcing

Is your crank even good? That will be the hardest part to source I think. Not many of those around or spare parts.

Re: My New To Me Daytona 1000

Poor project freebie jet ski needs some fiberglass work. When I removed the wear ring it took part of the gelcoat with it. Not only that but it looks like at some point in this skis life the bearings...

  10. Re: Just got a seadoo spark... whats this I hear of the hulls cracking?

We have a few owners with cracked Spark hulls on our small inland lake. To put it another way, i'm not optimistic on the longevity of these hulls. I was surprised to learn Sea Doo is now implementing...

If your jet pump not rebuildable? Rebuilding the jet pumps is pretty easy. There is a good Tigershark buy sell parts group on facebook. Have you joined?

Nujet or Solas Tigershark Daytona 1000

I'm looking for some input on a replacement impeller for my 97' Daytona 1000. Is anyone using a Nujet or Solas on their ski? How do you like it?
  15. Re: 1000 triple, center cylinder doing all the work.

Make sure you're running the correct spark plugs. The previous owner of my ski used NGK BR9ES and I always assumed they were the correct plugs for this ski. After some weird running issues I did some...

    Re: Impeller removal

The eBay tool is the one I used to remove the impeller from my Daytona 1000. I just used a regular wrench and this tool to remove my impeller.
  19. Re: 1000 triple, center cylinder doing all the work.

I highly recommend you remove that water filter contraption and bypass it with a 1/2" fitting. I had a heck of a time figuring out a cooling issue until I realized that stupid filter was clogged.

That's what I was thinking. If that isn't it, you might need to soak it in Chem-Dip. This stuff does an excellent job of cleaning carburetors.

Re: 95 xp pop off pressure

My OEM manual as well as the SBT guide that I use both have the pop off pressure for a 1995 Sea Doo XP 717 as 40-56psi. Low speed screw 1-3/4 and high speed - 0.

Did you put in fresh spark plugs as well? If it were me, I would take the carbs off and go through them. Today's fuels do not last long at all, that's why I always use fuel stabil in my skis.
