    Re: 550sx crankshaft options

I like, and have been using the ADR cranks on all 550 engine builds here. (Have one I am doing now)
  7. Re: 550SX - can I increase cooling water flow???

Dual cooling on a 550 is a good idea.

    You can either;

Easiest = eliminate your stock siphon bilge, install an electric bilge pump. Use the siphon bilge through hull tube for a 2nd cooling line....

    Re: Weird PJS intake grate

I wonder if it is for one of their (PJS) Own skis.... One of the rare sit down's maybe? I know the VHP/Viper also take a 550 type std grate.

I have never seen one like this, that I remember...

    Re: 98 GTS Electrical/Ignition Issue?

If you only have 9v at your battery when cranking, you have found your issue, you have a bad battery.

    Re: 98 GTS Electrical/Ignition Issue?

It stops cranking due to your voltage loss. Again as Hemmjo says above, you need to determine why you have a loss. (Either bad battery, or cable)

    Re: 98 GTS Electrical/Ignition Issue?

    Just to be clear....

Your SeaDoo Will crank, crank, crank, then nothing right?

Do as Hemmjo says above to start. A full charged battery should be 12.5 volts or more when sitting, and should not...

Re: 92 Yamaha VXR not starting

Checking spark by laying plugs on the head is not accurate. Weak spark will go away under load is compression. You need to test with spark testers.

Check compression with a known good, quality...

Re: Why no on-line parts prior to 1996?

You will find it difficult to get "O.E." parts for any older ski. Most manufactures (SeaDoo especially) do not support their machines parts wise after they are 10 years old.

    This is not to say...

Re: Best intake grate for 650sx

Our Billet version is improved over the cast. Scoops, and wings are better shaped, and yes, billet is stronger. (Although, an intake will not just "break" without impact of some sort.)

Re: Best intake grate for 650sx

Our scoop works very well on both BUT ask the X2 guys. Most of them...

    Hello. Welcome.
  43. Re: 2005 Sea Doo GTX- RAVE Valve Location??

RAVE Valves are used on the Seadoo 787, and 951 2 stroke engines. Your 05 GTX would be a 4-tech 4 stroke engine. The 4 strokes are different, and do not have the RAVE Valves.

    If your GTX is a...
