  9. Re: Good buy? Good performance expectations?

My b1 currently has those exact mods on a full 62t motor, it's really quick but not mind erasing fast. Bottom end hit is really nice but top end feels like it should have a bit more. I have a stock...

Sean make sure you drill out that fitting you welded into the stinger, I made mine about 3/16". Also what are you doing with the extra vacuum line that that fitting was originally connected to?

    Re: stubborn 650 impeller

See if you can borrow a big impact some a neighbor etc. If you can't do that, chuck the rear end of the shaft in the vise and get a long breaker bar, put some serious pressure on it and have a buddy...

    Re: stubborn 650 impeller

What kind of impact are you using? My 800lb 1/2" will bust off 98% of the bolts I have but every so often I have to break out the 1200lb 3/4". That sucker WILL come off with a good quality 3/4"...

    Re: My 650sx winter project

Thanks, I'm going to try laundry soap and water today. I don't have a bilge so I'll use my shop vac. Last night I bead blasted and epoxied the other ebox side too.

What's the point of the rubber...

    My 650sx winter project

Hi everyone, I just wanted to document my 650 build. It's more of an incomplete restoration than a build but I'm on a budget so I can't get too crazy.

    I bought a 91 650sx last summer, long story...

  26. Re: rebuilding my top end...need a few opinions

Cool, thanks, I think I'll go for a head that's been slightly milled to bump the comp up just a tad.
  27. Re: rebuilding my top end...need a few opinions

Good call, I know Craig he's a good guy, I thought he only deals in 550 stuff but I'll give him a call anyway. Thanks.

    Re: Rev limiter too low?

Compression is 130/125. Low but the same as when I bought it a few months ago. I think it idles too well to be a cyl down but I'll fire it up tomorrow morning and pull plug wires and find out.

    Rev limiter too low?

I was on the lake today and all the sudden the ski (91 650sx) fell on it's face. Towed it back to shore and out of the water it sounds like the rev limiter is way lower than it should be. In the...
