    Are you OK with me pushing the water from the case cooler out the vent for the battery? I am using a closed cell battery and do not need the vent. Thanks!

    I just ordered an 8 hole gasket.

    On another note, would you use the original white oil pump shaft that goes into the crank or the newer black one that goes around the nut?

    I understand. I am using a Solas Concord impeller. Stock jetting but all are turned out 1/4 further. I I have always run premium in all the Doos. Thanks!

    I will check the squish. I am just making sure you are OK with that squish recommendation. I did cut the RAVEs. I took off 0.6mm just to be safe.

    I had to file one ring end just a tiny bit to get it to .010 the other three were fine.

    I contacted ADA and he said that the squish usually ends up around .055. Are you OK with that?

    Oooooo. I do not have the exact measurement. I gave the specs from the manual to my machinist friend and he bored and honed to match the cylinders to the pistons within specs. That is all I know.

    You are the boss. All I know is what the shop manual says. The ADA head has 43cc domes and I was going to use the ring gap recommendations in the manual unless you know some magic. :notworthy

    Hey!

    How in the world are you getting a GTX-IG-B Solas grate to fit in a 1997 GSX??? It is the correct one but I can not get it to set back far enough for the bolt holes to line up.

    That is that I thought. The stator mounts on the cover not the crank like a 717 or am I missing something. Not a challenge at all, just want to understand. Thanks for your patience with me.
