Good to see someone showing some love for the SN! Are you going to do a nose piece as well?

You can buy used ones or buy out of state. Oy a couple lakes and central part of the coast doesn't allow them.
-
Why? 2stroke will still be better for surf/freestyle/ease of rebuild etc etc
-
Next question is are they going to keep the 2stroke model?! :D
-
That looks like a blast! Did you bring a gopro??

blah blah blah When is your js440 triple pipe snowmobile going to hit the starting line? :D

First thing when buying a new ski, I clean the carbs and check compression. Other then that keep water out of it, fog the engine after each ride. Might also be worth replacing the impeller if it has...

My mom has been riding a 780slt issue free for years. They are fun and fairly fast.

Preferably in blue.

Just keep her topped off. :)
-
I would start with 115m 125p 24psi.
-
You might also look into an impeller. The best tuners around you would either be Jetworks or the ski clinic.
-
-
Do you have the rear grab bar?
-
You are much better off getting a used oem stator.
-
Will the gas caps fit on an zxi1100? IF they are in good shape how much for both?
-
If you know the cable specs length/throw/etc or have one you can send to be matched these guys will make you one. (I use them for all my jetski cables)

Call Carl at pro-tec and ask him. It was most likely ported for top end speed. Take it for a ride and see how fast it is. :)

Get this: (also poles here that are much cheaper then RRP) http://www.kp-parts.com/parts/nozzle-adapter-08-sj
Where did you get this info at?

Superjet will not disapoint. Bobby.b it sounds like you also need a superjet. The 440/550's do not have a lot of power and much less stable.
The Krash Reaper is another option worth looking into....

Look at the waveblaster 1 & 2 swaps that hundreds of people have done. Going from a 760 to an 1100 or 1200 is night and day difference in acceleration and top speed.

My bad I was replying to the OP.
You will want to shave the stock head down. To get your compression up to 135-140.
Get the nujet 5 impeller. And do the zxi1100 dry pipe mod for the biggest gain...

The 1100's are great engines to upgrade and can be made a lot faster for little money and time.
Having modded multiple zxi 1100 skis/engines I would do this:
-ocean head with 31cc domes
-delete...
-
Probably be easier to upgrade to a zeeltronics and program it via your laptop.

If you dont mind wrenching you can go with a big dry pipe like a speedwerx or type 4. Get your cylinder and cases ported, upgrade to dual 46's with pfp or boyesen intake. And you are going to want a...

TLDR;
WFO is flipping couches.
-
Superjet or SXR800 would be best. If you have trouble with those or find a stand up is not for you. Get a 1993-1996 waveblaster 1. Closest thing you can get to a stand up with a seat.
-
Sweet! Chamber shouldn't be hitting the hull. Do you have the mount?
-
Emptied! The thing with building a ski is all the little stuff ads up quick. I made a list of some of the parts I needed to build a new ski. ...
-
Where in norcal are you? You are normally better off buying something complete. Most a/m skis are built fairly cheap and may require some fiberglass work to make them perfect/not leak.
A lot of...

These short backflip skis are blast but take some tray time to get used to. Keep riding it and soon enough you will be throwing it around with ease.
-
looks like a fun ride spot!

Where in NorCal are you!? I want to see this hull! :D

Go on craigslist and look for the old 70s'/80's Jet surf boards and build on that. You can find them about the same price as a JS.
-
You might be able to use it as a template or starting point to build your own. Cut out the stator and use a lathe to bring it down in size and build out your own with fiber/carbon. Reading some more...
