  4. Re: Struggling to get newly rebuilt 47 Mikuni (GRS) carb dialed in

Both my skis are 1992's so they are both SX's and the stock impeller was some piece of crap if I remember right, but that being said I am 99.9% sure that I am using SkatTrack 9/17's on both. I will...

  6. Re: Struggling to get newly rebuilt 47 Mikuni (GRS) carb dialed in

There was also another recommendation on reducing the needle and seat to a 2.0. Currently at a 2.5. Think I should just start with the pop off pressure first before lowering that? This carb was...
  7. Re: Struggling to get newly rebuilt 47 Mikuni (GRS) carb dialed in

So I have a Kawasaki 750SX ski that has had quite a bid of mods performed in its past life. I recently had Newmiller Machine provide me with a new head so I could get back into pump gas. With that I...

Thanks for offering to help out! Here are the details you asked for both my skiis, if you don't mind calculating both for me?

  13. Re: Dome of head not matching bore size. Is this an issue?

    Hey Bill,

  14. Dome of head not matching bore size. Is this an issue?

I have an Ocean Pro swirl head on my '93 Kawasaki 750 SX, that has a dome size that is only 77mm. The bore size of my motor is at 81.55mm. Does this create an issue at all? I know the piston never...

Re: When to run race fuel?

The mod ski was bored, yes with a Group K Hammer kit. I made the major mistake though of removing the stock head that they modified with this Ocean Pro head just to bump compression. I know super bad...

    When to run race fuel?

I have been given, what I consider, some pretty solid advice from some folks stating that using the screw on compression testers is not the best way for figuring out if you need to run race fuel. It...

    Gotcha! Thanks!
  20. Re: Proper fuel line configuration for Dual carbs on Kawasaki 750sx

I believe that is what the black hose is for inside the tank but I will double check. It is not the same as the blue fuel line on the outside.
  21. Re: Proper fuel line configuration for Dual carbs on Kawasaki 750sx

Thanks Bandit88, I never heard about that concern with the primer, but it makes sense. I will take that into account. Take a look at the pictures. I will get another filter and extend another pickup...

Re: Is this stupid? 650sx sponsons?

If you are asking me about the pics on my ski and how they handle. They handle great. Leaning all the way over to the bond rail is the problem with the old Kawasaki stand-ups. They require way too...

  36. Re: MRD Fuel Injection Questions. Kawasaki 750SX

  37. Re: New Kawasaki SX-R 2017- Any old parts compatible

One more question on the superjet... They don't even make fuel intakes that could use the same carbs as I have for my Kawasaki? I have an awesome Green Racing Specialties carb that I would hate to...

  39. Re: MRD Fuel Injection Questions. Kawasaki 750SX

  41. Re: MRD Fuel Injection Questions. Kawasaki 750SX
