    Did you do an Air Leakdown Test on this Engine before sending it?

    If you have any Air Leaks, it will be near impossible to tune either the Mikunis or the Keihins.

    570259Had better luck with the Squeeze Bulb type Primer. No moving Parts.

    The Plunger type seems to fail often, perhaps because of the wear caused by the actuation.

    Sometimes Transom Landings will cause the Engine to impact the Coupler, hammering the Shaft deeper into the Housing. If the Motor Mounts survive, then there'll be a bigger Coupler Gap.

    If the Pump is locked-up, it's not going to do much, maybe just hum, buzz, melt Cables and blow Fuses.

    Take the Spark Plugs out and try to rotate the Engine Crank by Hand...

    Test the Regulator/Rectifier first. When the internal diodes (electrical check valves) go bad, it allows reverse flow and drains the Battery.
