    Is it pissing out the side? you probably have a cooling hose clogged and its causing the overheat sensor to trip - putting you in limp mode.. Whats the head temp like? you should be able to touch it...

    so does the housing have a liner? or is the stainless liner and aluminum housing one piece?

    Just put a new prop in the vx110, and or coarse its binding on the stainless liner..

    I bought a new plastic liner but its not like the seadoo pump, can I remove the stainless liner and replace...

    .. if you jump the solenoid and it starts that's your problem.. you can just use a screwdriver across the 2 nuts..

    So my friends impellor and wear ring are worn out. I am replacing them for him, but damn the bolts seem stuck and I am scared to break them off...How much force can I use? should I use an impact gun?

    you can fix it.. grind out the break.. grind back on the pole to make room for some material and fiberglass and epoxy it.. Its hard to make pretty but easy to make strong

    the pumps rarely fail, but the lines and **** do..
    this way you always have lubrication if you remember to put oil in the fuel

    you can get a gasket from sbt. don't use gasket sealer it will just make it tough to pull and cleanup..

    So after many hours.. it was my red wire to the starter.. corroded where it wasn't easy to see... starter was probably fine...
    Always be sure of the simple stuff before you tear into things more...

    its not hard.. as long as the bolts aren't seized.. its a poor design though so you need two people (one to hold the nuts in the hull) or be patient with vice grips.. I can change mine in an hour...

    rear cylinders tend to run hotter... the water is already hot by the time it gets there.. on the 760's they run bigger jets to help cool the pto cylinder.... also that is the cylinder that cranks...

    this is quite common. there are lots of detailed writeups on greenhulk.. Basically those washer bits are all through the motor.. So everything has to be completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected...

    sometimes the start/stop switch can get corroded and cause cut outs, but if your plugs aren't going light brown you are running lean..

    usually you diesel or get a lean run away condition when there is a massive air leak... its called dieseling because your plugs get so hot they ignite the gas without a spark... the best way to kill...
