Could be piston clearance or rusty crank. I told you what causes a slow crank, can't wrench for you. Start swapping parts and isolate the issue.

Fort hamer is a nice spot to cruise. It's out off SR64 and i75, not too far away from the wawa. Not busy and lots of cool paths and stuff to check out.

check battery voltage while cranking. if it's under 12.5 it's no good.
weak crank is either battery, starter, or dirty power/ground cable connections.

could just be the pump is frozen. unbolt the engine and slide it forward. should give you your answer.

Used several triple jet cdk2 on 750 swaps with pipes. In Florida at sea level typically a half turn is enough out from stock is enough to make them run pretty well.
