I had two of them given to me by the factory and wish I never got rid of at least one of them.

  7. Re: at what point is a stand up pwc no fun- choppy waves?

There is never a time a stand-up is not fun, flat, choppy, ruff, the most fun I have is when a Hurricane or tropical storm rolls through Florida it makes our lakes like the ocean.

    Re: 550sx mysterious gremlin

Take one plug cap and put it on a head nut, so it is not on the plug, it should run on one cylinder, if it only runs on one but not the other you will narrow your search.

    Re: 550sx mysterious gremlin

Ground one plug wire and see if it runs on the other if it does ground the other one, if it only runs on one you can narrow your search down.

    Re: ARX1200T3 misfire

Have you checked the oil level the correct way, let idle 5 minutes then check it at the front stick? These tend to gain oil or get over filled due to not checking it correctly. Check the simple stuff...

    Re: Fuel tank warranty work

I am no longer a Honda dealer we were for 35 years back in 2006 I did a recall on a 1976 cb750 fuel cap latch, if you call Honda they should be able to tell you the closest dealer still working on...

    Re: WTB waterbox for 550

I always hated the tin can sound of aluminum, you can easily take a stock one apart and use cabosil to put it back together gutted and has a deeper tone and a little more bottom end.

Re: Jetski International ECU issue (Code 25)

I was a Honda dealer for 35 years and I would be scared to buy a used Aquatrax if not for you doing this kind of work Because as at some point Honda will stop making the defective pgmfi unit and then...
  23. Re: Newbie to the vintage ski world - looking for advise

  24. Re: 2002 Honda Aquatrax F12X turbo died with no warnings

Turbos had lower compression then normally aspirated skis, leak down was always the best check, I don’t think you would be having a low compression issue and if you did it would usually be one cyl...

  26. Re: 2002 Honda Aquatrax F12X turbo died with no warnings

Did you just fill it up with fuel, I have had diesel put in them or get water in the fuel, check the simple things first, then reset pgmfi unit and see if you get a fault code again.

Re: Pictures of water in oil?

Oil looks normal to me like it has a little aeration in it from sucking it out, put it in a glass container and let it sit a few days, if water is in it it will separate.

Re: Just Bought 2 Vintage Stand Ups

They are getting harder to find. Fresh fuel, rebuild carbs, new lines, once running spray contact cleaner near output shaft to make sure crank seals aren’t leaking then run the crap out of them.

  45. Re: Whats a clean JS440 with mods selling for these days?

In Florida they are going for top dollar, a few years back you could find them all day for 500-1000, now they are $1200-1800. I search craigslist and some areas they are still under $1000 but not...
