  1. Re: I'm out of idea's please help ...... 650SX with SBN44, no top end

I would like to see pictures of the rings (still in the piston). Good shots
of the rings on the exhaust side. Other pics of piston skirts (in & ex),
    head & cylinder gasket surfaces.

    Thanks

  2. Re: I'm out of idea's please help ...... 650SX with SBN44, no top end

There is supposed to be a 1/2 circle (square ring) that locates the
crank shaft into the proper position inside the crank case.

Lots of chatter marks from the crank flexing. That doesn't help, ...

Re: Does anyone recognize this pipe??

Both PJS and R&D had a similar pipe. But that one is missing the
    embossed lettering of both companies.

Which pipe was installed before the FPP?

What I am concerned with is the transition from low speed to high speed.
The low jet, needle & seat and spring combine together to help the carb
transition from low to high speed circuits.

As I recall, you are using John's jet specs:

    135M

    2.3 seat
    95gr spring

Did John sell you the Jets, or did you get them somewhere else?

I like those specs, but I prefer a different...

Yes, it prevents water from being directed into the flame arrestor.

Water can damage the pistons if the carburetor ingests water while
