Yes I found a cracked SS hull with a engine (I was going to swap into 550) and a good hull which I was considering swapping.

I actually replaced a couple of the fuel lines (all that run to the carb except the one from the filter to the carb) and changed the little disc layers on the front of the carb and I got it running....

How can I test the rev limiter? Is it just a conductivity test?

The pickups I already tested and they are fine. The tank has no cracks. The only thing I question is the gasket under the threaded pickup knob has a slight tear in that. Will that affect it?

I didn't see this until rereading the thread but yes the stock rev limiter is still in place. Should I replace it or bypass it?

It starts and runs just fine. I had it running for about 1 min. while pouring fuel down the carb but it will not pull fuel into the carb. I will look into a SBN or try to find a carb off a running...

So what do you recommend I do with the 2 round bodies I have? Also can I remove the primer fitting?

Yes... In my opinion you can never have too many 10mm sockets. 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" drive and deep and shallow.
