    verify the fuel system is tight. on these old machines the vent/check valves fail. The fuel vapor is needed to push the fuel to the carbs, especially on low fuel levels....

    the mods should not shear a woodruff key...more then likely the Flywheel was installed wrong. you need to clean up the surfaces and install the flywheel DRY. torque to spec.

    try adjust a thrust from wetwolf. I have their FS cone, and it works, but the AAT is supposed to help across the speed ranges. 167 bucks, plus you have to dial it in.

    Make sure you a fresh gas. Once you are going, the LS setting is not in play. Make sure you have a tight fuel system. No leaks.
