I have a very similar setup as you. SXR with a head, flywheel, and wet pipe. I'm running a Solas Dynafly 14/23 and a R&D Pump Stuffer.

I was second guessing you, was giving him the reason.

Block the front hood breather, and cut out the second rear one. Hard to get water in the hull unless it's a full submarine.

Skip the Kawi AC Poles. I broke mine in less than two years. The kawi steering plate design sucks compared to the Yamaha design.

I'm doing this on mine this coming winter, bought a full gasket set.

It made my mostly stock SXR feel sharp and snappy. Can't say it adds power, but the mid range zing and throttle control is better.

With a flywheel it makes a stock ski feel very responsive.

  29. Re: 2011 SXR 800 reduced water and hotter temps coming out of pisser (bypass)

Start with the two easy spots first.

    1. Check the elbow 90 at the pisser. That is one of the smaller orifices, it's only a 1/4" hose, not 3/8" or 1/2". I was constantly getting mine clogged with...

  34. Re: 650sx - TBM Pump Cone “pro” or swap in a different pump?

  41. Re: 2008 Kawasaki SXR 800 Bottom End Full of Fuel
