    The Yamaha 701 is a shaker at idle. Vibration is the culprit. The vertical ribs on the needle gets worn down over time and also creates the grove on the tip that makes it leak.

    Top of tubbie should be parallel with the bond line and a 1/4in. from the bottom of ski.
