Re: Is this ski worth the money ?

in San Diego CA that would be a pretty standard/ to good deal. Most stock SNSJ with nothing special go for 2-3k. Good luck to you!

    Re: Lake without cops?

In California I just took the title in, $15.00 to change title, and for reg stickers it's like $20.00. not sure about Texas but I think CA is supposed to be one of the most restrictive states when it...

    Re: Anyone run this oil?

Never liked Pennzoil, made some of my old cars run like crap and didn't look normal after racing. I only use Valvoline in cars.

    Re: Anyone run this oil?

I hate Pennzoil, all about personal preference I guess.

    1st choice: Casteroil
    2nd choice: Lucas Oil

Im sure there's better out there, but that's what I like : )

Also what caused it to stick wide open, is your throttle cable snagging somewhere? Or maybe your throttle linkage spring on the carb is worn out?

    Re: js550 help

B8ES and BR8ES are the same basically, R just means it has a Resistor in it, doesn't matter much in these motors, but I like that the BR8ES is a little safer possibly. lol
  12. Re: Thinking about pulling the Trigger on a clean 750SXI Pro

lol sounds like bologna, who lowers the price because their ski isn't selling, and then randomly goes back up. Seems steep for that ski unless the market is booming for em in your area

    Re: Unfixable 650sx exhaust leak

Head gasket leak would let water into your cylinders, bog down your engine and get your plugs wet as far as I know. Apparently so will a bad exhaust manifold gasket.

  37. Re: Rookie jet ski owner looking to know the ropes

Interesting, it does seem like thin metal pipes get hot, while thicker metals don't seem to as much. I know my super thick west coast pipe doesn't get very hot at all.
  38. Re: Rookie jet ski owner looking to know the ropes

How does yours do temperature wise after you got it all hooked up?
  39. Re: Rookie jet ski owner looking to know the ropes

I should add I'm not an expert or anything, just have done tons of cooling line research and hoping I might be able to help a little. Good luck to you though!
  40. Re: Rookie jet ski owner looking to know the ropes

Don't they call it the Coffman "Sizzler"? lol, the big question is how was your engine temp? exhaust pipe is just an air tube, if nothing is melting, and engine is cool, you might be fine, could...

Re: I might have just thrown away $160

Forget looks, get the 650 running so you can play in the water and do the 750 the right way, then when the 750's good and done, tear that 650 apart. at least that's what i would do : )
  42. Re: 1992 750sx getting another chance at life.
