    We have two SXi Pros with Factory Pipes and the richer jettin Watcon recommended and still use BR8EV plugs. Never had an issue with fouled plugs.

    Yes. A good primer kit comes with brass plugs to put in the holes the shafts were in. IMO a primer kit is needed if the choke is removed.

    Carb inspection was a good idea. The butterfly on the rear carb wasn’t moving. Set screws on the linkage between the carbs had come loose. Easy fix!

    SXR vs SXi Pro steering sub plate?

    Does anyone know if the steering sub plates on an Ď06 SXR and Ď98 SXi Pro are interchangeable?

    I like the Odi Rogue model because they are slightly larger in diameter than the Ruffians for bigger hands. Odi lock ones are the best grips I’ve ever used on a PWC.

    Also forgot to mention that the one with no bottom end power seems to smoke a whole lot more than the other ski. Both are running 50:1...

    We had a cooling jacket on the cylinder in our WB crack two seasons ago, filled the hull with water in a hurry. Maybe run on a hose and just take a quick look to make sure there are no cracks?
