Re: No/weak spark, charge coil 62T

I hate reading a thread only to get to the end and find out there is no solution or ending so to speak. Figured I'd wrap this one up. I was confident that I didn't have a fuel issue but I did. I...

Re: No/weak spark, charge coil 62T

No I still have not fixed this issue. I am checking the Charge coil output by unplugging the wires from the CDI and testing directly to the Charge coil. That's where I am getting my high reading...

I have seen the WSM coil for a cheap price but have heard bad things about them. Who is the mfg of the one you bought? So it worked for you in the long run? My coil specs out fine.

Thanks Bob for that info. The funky part is it is putting out 69V which is above spec. That part that is confusing me. Low resistance, high volts...? Have a thought on that? I am just lost on...

I guess my question now would specifically be, can a charge coil go bad by having a super low resistance and putting out more volts then what the spec is? I wonder if that condition could also...

Re: No/weak spark, charge coil 62T

My meter is set to auto read. Plus its putting out 69volts which the spec is 30-50v. with that low resistance and high volts my gut just tells me its still an electric issue even though it runs if...

    No/weak spark, charge coil 62T
