  1. Re: My 96 SJ has 61x engine swap question

if you want to go dual carb, just find a set of matching 62t cases and manifold with carbs and swap everything over. also allows you to refresh the engine, clean everything up, and reseal it.

Re: Zeeltronic wiring help on 750sx

theres not much to it really. youll need to make a connector wire for the red wire to power the zeel and have the charging operational. and you will need to make an extra ground wire either for the...

  4. Re: factory pipe oversize screws not closing fully

the bleed hole into the exhaust stream is a 1/16th hole. the pocket that the very end of the injection screw fits into is 3/16 i believe
  5. Re: 1992 750sx 44 SBN mikuni jetting with factory pipe

Do you have a tank vent? Definitely need a tank vent as you can have fuel delivery issues without one or one that's not working properly. Should let air in but not out
  6. Re: 1992 750sx 44 SBN mikuni jetting with factory pipe

Try it and see. Only one way to find out. 20psi is right on the ballpark.
  7. Re: 1992 750sx 44 SBN mikuni jetting with factory pipe

2.5 n/s with 80g spring is around 14psi popoff. That's really low which makes your jetting richer. If you dont have a 2.0 n/s, try a 115g spring. Should be stiffest and has extra ring on top and...
  8. Re: 1992 750sx 44 SBN mikuni jetting with factory pipe

You dont want to decrease the water flow to the headpipe, just to the stinger. What carb settings are you running in the last video?
  9. Re: 1992 750sx 44 SBN mikuni jetting with factory pipe

How do you have your water routing setup? I run a dedicated cooling line to the bottom of the headpipe from the pump to better control the pipe temps and it also puts more pressure on the injector...
  10. Re: 1992 750sx 44 SBN mikuni jetting with factory pipe

I always use a thin layer of assembly goo on all gaskets so if I have to remove something, the gasket wont tear. Since you have the open filter style arrestor, try the 2.0 n/s and a black 80g spring.
  11. Re: 1992 750sx 44 SBN mikuni jetting with factory pipe

What flame arrestor are you running? I'm running a 750 sp in a x2 with a fpp pipe as well. I'm running a 2.0 n/s with a 95g spring. Measures 25psi. If you change the popoff it's also a good idea to...
  12. Re: Fabricating Your Own High Performance Cone Pipe

theres a guy on this forum that built is own centerbleed cone pipe that connects to the stock 650sx headpipe that turned out excellent. id personally love to build a chamber
  13. Re: '91 550 SX Fuel Tank Pressure/ flooding after sitting?

the check valve only lets air in, not out. if you have a bad oring on your seat of the n/s that could allow fuel to leak past. have you checked the popoff as well? also, after riding when you put it...

Re: 650sx best mods for low end

the only way to know the actual pitch is to check it with a pitch gauge. just because it says 15 or 16 doesnt actually mean thats the actual pitch. i bought a 16 skat for a 550 and had a fully built...

    Re: Pro Watercraft pump stuffers

I dont think you're gonna be able feel a 1-2mph increase anyways. It's not saying the stuffer doesn't make any improvements. Prowatercraft noted 2mph increase in top speed.

    Re: js550 jetting?

There are no interchangeable jets on the bn carbs. You can open the top screw adjuster for the pipe
  18. Re: Forgive me ... but dual cooling off the head from a single inlet ...

If the water is moving too fast through the engine, it may not properly pick up enough heat from the engine. One inlet in and 2 going out seems useless to me as 1 line can only move so much water so...
  19. Re: Forgive me ... but dual cooling off the head from a single inlet ...

If you only have one line going in, you should have one line coming out. That rear fitting on the head should be capped off. Everything else looks fine. If you have 2 lines feeding the exhaust...

    Re: dual cooling questions 550sx

If you add a tee inline from the back of the pipe to the stinger and add a water bypass. That will keep too much water from going into the waterbox. Also would help to either get a flow control valve...
