  1. Re: 2011 SXR 800 reduced water and hotter temps coming out of pisser (bypass)

You might have a Head Gasket leak.

Retorque the Cylinder Head to spec.

If that doesn't help, remove Head and inspect Gasket for blow-by marks 'tween Bores and Water Passages. Post pics of...
  2. Re: Flesh Eating Bacteria , What's up with this, getting scary to go in the water.

From personal experience, I think having the following is a good hedge against these infections:

  3. Re: Struggling to get newly rebuilt 47 Mikuni (GRS) carb dialed in

Just a quick overview shows that most big carb set-ups are using about 20 psi Pop-Off pressure...but you need to find the closest match to your set-up for approximate jetting.

    And that Jet Pro...

    Nice work!
  7. Re: Looking for a resonator to fit my conversion ski (See pic)

An alternate solution maybe to modify that Chamber into a Center Bleed type. You're going be using a small fuel tank anyway, so a Waterbox or Resonator might still fit inside the Bow...

  8. Re: 1996 Yamaha Wave Venture 700 Exhaust Hose Issue

    Re: 2015 Superjet Carb/Tune Question

Re: ***Fastest 'current' 550 in the world***

Those Stock OEM Rear Sponsons are contributing to the porpoising. Both Fischetti and Prowatercraft have Sponsons and Hull Attachments to minimize the porpoising.

  12. Re: compression issue on new (group k) rebuild

    +1 Bionic Racing

If the Exhaust Ports were raised, then compression readings would go down unless the compression loss was made up by decking the Cylinder Head. So not necessarily an issue.

    The...
