Re: 1987 Kawasaki 650sx Crank Thread help.

I don't have a 650 crank here to verify, but I think they have the same coupler threads as the early SP 750 cranks. M18 X 1.5

Re: 650 Starter Not Staying Engaged

Better off purchasing a good used oem unit than new A/M, imo. grumpyoldguy on here has sold me a few good used units in the past, might pm him. With used units avoid anything with any sign of rust.

Re: 750SX jetting and impeller advice

Jon, some of the Solas impellers (and the pos Solas impeller chart) from the 90's and 2000's are over pitched for the recommended application and the boats would act lazy from bottom to top. The 750...

I am going to say that you are way too lean. With PP 550's we are running 112.5 to 115 pilots, 130 to 135 main jets with 20psi +/- pop off. Also, having to feather the throttle in order to come off...

    Re: 550sx pump info

If you want to keep the stock set-up epoxy a short piece of 5/16" brass tubing in there. Tubing just needs to stick out into the jet stream 1/4" or so to create low pressure at the end of the tube.
