Sale pending. The new owner is picking it up tomorrow. If for some reason he doesn't show or changes his mind, i'll update this ad.
Thanks everyone for the interest.

Do your you have working VTS unit from this ski?
-
-
-
That might be a different ski you are thinking of. This is the only ski he had. He purchased the rail sets from the dealer and had them installed.
-
Original owner swapped the black out for purple when it was new.
-
Quite possibly the cleanest 96 XP in existence. Purchased from original owner, Immaculate condition, always garaged, registered 43 original hours on the dealer computer last summer. Runs perfect and...

Thanks Matt. Do you know where I can find some installation instructions for this rev limiter and water controller?
-
Have you tried pwcgraphics.com? Mike has replica decal kits for Sea Doos.
-
Can anyone identify this MSD rev limiter? I think its part number 4258? Unfortunately the decal that had the part number on it is gone. This MSD rev limiter came with my factory pipe for Sea Doo HX...

Any impellers for Tigershark Daytona 1000/TS1000R or 96 Sea Doo XPs?
-
SBT carries size 1.2 needle valves. I just ordered three new ones yesterday from them. I have been carb parts from them for years and haven't had any problems with them.
It just takes a pop...
-
Yeah, they make the writing so dang small!!!
Thanks for the screenshot. It's a little confusing because it has two listings for the high speed jets.
Yes, I put part one up on youtube...
-
Never mind. I finally found my magnify glass so I could read the darn size! I pulled out a 1.2 on the mag cylinder so I assume the rest are the same, but will double check when I brake those carbs...
-
Does anyone know what size needle and seat a 98' Tigershark TS1000R takes? My shop manual only goes up to model year 1997 and from the information i'm gather it looks like Tigershark may have went...
-
Nikasil plating is expensive and I don't want to risk damaging my new cylinders because I overlooked the rings. Chrome rings are very common in 2 strokes and word on the street is to stay away from...
-
That is incorrect. Depending on what the rings are made out of, it does matter. As stated in the article below carbon steel rings with a harder chrome face are not compatible with nikasil bores.

-
I have a 97' Tigershark Daytona 1000 with nikasil bores and was wondering if your pistons and rings are compatible with them? You guys offer steel liners for my ski and didn't know if the ring...

Sorry to hear! After reading your post, I will never use Crankworks out of AZ! It's unbelievable the level of incompetence they displayed when they "rebuilt" your crank. Yikes! I wonder how many...

Anyone know where I can get some red paint for the top deck? I would like to sand it down and repaint the top deck this year and add my new decals.
-
My favorite! I have a few 95 XP 800's and love them. There just something special about them over the 96, like pump extension, single gauge hood, and x motor.
-
I have purchased at least a dozen SBT crankshafts over the years and haven't had a single failure on any of them. I'm also a guy who knows what he is doing and has been building 2 stroke engines for...
-
Motor mounts are different. You will have to glass in new mounts in order to make this work. Lots of guys have swapped in 800 into skis that originally had 720's in them. This is especially popular...
-
He will be missed! Still can't thank him enough for helping me with my HX.
-
One more question how does the fire extinguisher mount? I see the mount under the engine lid, however I don't see any straps to hold it in place. The parts diagram doesn't show the straps just a...
-
Mine must be missing. I don't see anything like that on the LH side of the pole mount. Do you know if there is a aftermarket solution?
I think I have the front hood figured out, i'll chalk that up...
-
Hello, I just purchased a new to me SXR 800 stand up jet ski and can't for the life of me figure out how to get the pole piece to lock in the up right position. The owners manual says there is a lock...
-
Sorry! I don't visit these forums often and just saw your post. That's cool you got the motivation to get your ski back on the water after seeing what I did to mine.
I used 3Bond 1211 to seal the...
-
Do you have a set of micrometers to measure wear? If not, just replace all three and sleep well knowing it was done right.
-
This should fit all Sea Doo's with a 720 engine.
-
I use 3 bond 1211 to seal the wear ring to the back of the jet ski. Others have also had good luck with Ultra Black sealant.
-
The repair is done. Next is to install the new wear ring and Solas impeller after the gelcoat cures.
-
Thanks! She is getting there. I just ordered a new Solas 15.5/19.5 impeller too. Maybe this time this Shark will give my 95' XP800 a run for it's money. :)
-
I need a right side sponson for a 97' Tigershark Daytona 1000. If you are sitting on the jet ski I need the sponson that is on the right side.
-
Is your crank even good? That will be the hardest part to source I think. Not many of those around or spare parts.
-
Poor project freebie jet ski needs some fiberglass work. When I removed the wear ring it took part of the gelcoat with it. Not only that but it looks like at some point in this skis life the bearings...
-
He said his space bar isn't working and apologized in the original post.
-
That sucks! These guys screwed up and won't make it right?
-
We have a few owners with cracked Spark hulls on our small inland lake. To put it another way, i'm not optimistic on the longevity of these hulls. I was surprised to learn Sea Doo is now implementing...
