Do the beach house mounting bracket holes line up the ssxi factory sponson holes?
-
Just to note sxr and sxipro oem nozzle is 76mm bore. Early 750 sx, ss, ssxi, and sts are 80mm bore. 650 sx is 83mm. All good options to tune your power delivery and peak rpm.

More BJ's performance posts would be awesome. You build some bada$s skis!

Because right now they are back in demand and fairly valuable.

Looks like #16 built in April of '99 , 185hp. Great restoration project for someone. Good luck with sale!

Nice work! Good find with the ultra 250 backing plate.

Sorry I've never tested a stock box to aftermarket for performance gains, but I do know stock ones are much more quiet.
Does your exhaust exit the front of the ski on the right side ( throttle...

They are called "resonators" technically. They are very loud but some models have a bung so you can add a brass fitting to add water and reduce noise.
They only replacement I would NOT recommend...

I think there is a c75 9/17 on ebay right now. Not mine. I'll try and post the link.

One or the other. 3738 has the most advance of any cdi kawi put out. I want to say its 21* from 3000 - 6000.

Ok the lack of ecwi may be contributing to the abrupt power delivery. Those pipes can tend to be lazy on the bottom without ecwi.
Thanks for sharing the pump set up. I feel that all specs do...

Do you have electronic water injecting on the pipe? Is the cylinder ported ?

1/4 npt is close to the 1/2 hose size cooling lines. Will need to retap your thread if you use npt. Stock kawasaki is metric thread, it close but slightly different than the stuff off the hardware...

1997-1999 Yamaha gp1200 60mph stock (very reliable)
1997-1999 sea-doo xp limited 951cc 60-62mph stock (aftermarket speed parts not hard to find)
1998-199 seadoo gsx limited 951cc 58- 60 mph stock...

4 Stroke supercharged Yamaha or Sea-doo will get you there. N/A will be thought to do and 2 stroke at those speeds will kill your wallet trying to find all the parts required for 70mph.
-
What you're looking for is the Sxi Pro "Limited" pipe. Any header pipe with the B pipe stamped will not work. That's yamaha specific. Good luck with the hunt!

Just not a #24 cylinder 750

5 = 15*
6.5= 16.5*
6.5 will be too much load for your set up.
Your theory typically is correct about adding speed and losing bottom end in most situations.
With your set up changing to a...

Maybe a current customer of his will chime in here.

750 sx plate works great, unless you have a js pole on your sx. It does move you forward like mentioned above. Also, a sxi pro plate will give a "quicksteer" affect, but triming of the pole is...

Remove the driveshaft and bearing housing. The pros have an aluminum drive shaft "tunnel" and sometime they will corrode and lead to leaks. Post a pic once the bearing housing is removed if you can.

I second the motion for banning the above

Can pm you his phone number. PM me if interested

Awesome thread. Enjoying the info everyone

Remove the Blue header pipe and then the enormous exhaust system. If everything is disconnected from the engine that is still bolted to the hull, there shouldn't be any issues at all.

Great article. Thanks vette

Sxr bottom, Gen 1 top deck with hood that opens like a blaster, rear exhaust, and motor mount options for kawi 650/750/800 and 1100? Maybe yami engine patterns for "those guys"
Am I close???

If you had the water hose turned on all the way, this would be similar to what the pump would feed (if not more) at wide open throttle. That hole you referenced is nothing in particular. Probably...

Probably Lake Havasu City, AZ

PJS "half pipe". Uses stock 750 manifold and header pipe. Pretty rare. Dont know much about performance of it personally.

Totally agree.
Hope everyone enjoys and maybe learns a thing or three about these pipes and what they were designed for.

Maybe shoot jetski solutions an email. They're pretty solid with repairing electronics.

Yes, should be rubber fixed to the bottom of the plastic bracket (hold down) that uses those 2 bolts
