    You have not ground out the chines yet. It will fit much better after that is complete, but you still have to block and strap it when you bond it. I have done a few of these, none of them were easy...

    Yes the flow control goes in the stinger takeoff from the tee. Less water at idle and full flow at wot, keeping waterbox cool enough.

    I always prefer bottom feeding the fpp pipes, as the coolest...

    ^ Agreed, 115g is typically used with 48s, I was thinking that the 65g was way too soft and may be the issue with it flooding (pop off way to early)

    ^ Have used the oil tank as an "extra fuel" tank, just as JC described. Works well, and quite a bit safer than a water/soda bottle :scared1:

    Add a little more water by opening the water screw(s) a 1/4 turn. It doesn't take much.

    You can't use the starter because the bilge will only run when you push the start button. Tie it into the battery with an inline fuse, no fire extinguisher necessary :-)

    Are you sure you don't mean STARTER and not STATOR? The stator is on the front of the engine...inside the front cover...

    You can do it in the ski but its a headache. Make sure you lap the new one to the crank snout before installing. Use a new key. Did the loose flywheel ring contact/damage the pickup coil on the front...
