  5. JS550 WAX RACING TOP FUEL internal fuel system

Bought new and used only to fire up my ski for testing. Fit and finish is excellent and I would have continued using but I screwed up my oe tank trying to shape it and went aftermarket for the...
  6. Re: Smokeysevin roll's his own swap adventure (Critical Failure) 1987 JS550 to 750 Bu

I am super happy with the tank, not cheap but fit like I wanted it to.

    3.3 gallons, this is 3.

  7. Re: Smokeysevin roll's his own swap adventure (Critical Failure) 1987 JS550 to 750 Bu

I received my H2O Designs 3 gallon Jazz tank in from Fast Elements today. It fits really well even using the stock straps. I need to replace my fuel lines that are now slightly too short and put a...
  8. Re: Smokeysevin roll's his own swap adventure (Critical Failure) 1987 JS550 to 750 Bu

Ooh, probably too wide near the stinger. Its really tight with how I have the exhaust routed.

  9. Re: Smokeysevin roll's his own swap adventure (Critical Failure) 1987 JS550 to 750 Bu

That is good to know, and not something I had considered. There was not turf on the top when I got it so I had not considered adding it as a result. I have no opposition to adding it.

  10. Re: Smokeysevin roll's his own swap adventure (Critical Failure) 1987 JS550 to 750 Bu

I think you nailed it. Molding the tank was really sketchy and my first time doing it. I didn't want to burn the tank so I used less heat than I probably should have. Additionally, the tank was old,...

  12. Re: Smokeysevin roll's his own swap adventure (Critical Failure) 1987 JS550 to 750 Bu

I found those yesterday actually, it makes me happy to see someone repopping them. I am not sure I trust the tanks after they are modified to fit after this one failed like this. I am leaning towards...

Welp, I went out on sunday to try and give this puppy a go and was greeted with this.

I am looking at these tanks as an option but am open to other suggestions. It looks like I could use 12"L x...

I would 100% not hack it up and scab in an external pump. You have something wrong and should diagnose it properly.

    Re: Kawasaki Fuel issues

It could be the tip switch, relay, or the start/stop/kill button. If they test fine on the bench there is something up with the harness/sensors.

The wires inside the tank can get loose at the top where it plugs into the white connector. Bend the pins a little and give it another try.
