Man, even your trailer is beautiful. You do beautiful work! When you get a chance would you post up pictures of your trailer including some info on your bunks?

See:

Post up some photos of your engine. Since the 550sx reed engine wasn't introduced until 1992 and you have a 1980 JS440 hull, I would be surprised that you have a 550 reed engine. But post up some...

Matt, I don't understand.
How do you ground a plug while running?
Do you mean start it and then take one spark plug wire off with rubber handled pliers or plug pliers?

MCN said: "Same as when you had it... Just a new set of Wossners and a different cylinder head. As far as I know it is running with a single 44 SBN, Coffman half pipe and an SX pump."

Please post up your results! Preferably with pictures.

That statement says it all. It confirms that you know about riding the 550. It is why I bought a FX-1.
But the 550 hull is superior to the FX-1 hull IMHO at least with my level of experience.

Great! So you haven't put the ski in the water with the 701 yet right? Please let us know how the engine affects the balance and performance of the ski over the 550 engine.
Also, how do you like...

Thanks! Have your buddy join and write his report! I am curious how its balance is.

Are you talking about the passive bilge drain? Partzilla.com has a decent schematic.
However, Super Jets were never sold oem with an electric bile pump.

Please do the article. Also please discuss why it was designed the way it was with the pole pivot. Why it has a pump which was smaller than the Square Nose Super Jet of the time, etc. I have...
