    you can probably find a stock diverter manifold pretty cheap. if you can find a good deal on one then might be worth it especially if you mod the ski more or do any engine work. or go to a 750

    you can use some yamabond or 1211 along with the gasket that will seal it up. hondabond is the same thing. you can find it at a local motorcycle shop.

    Got some pictures of the lightened flywheel. Lightened by newmiller machine. 1lb lighter than stock and was rebalanced at the same time. No burrs or spots where it mates with the crank snout. $90...

    just fyi, an oem flame arrestor for the dual carbs with the rubber baffles removed and 2 of the 3 stainless screens removed will perform as good if not better than the aftermarket filter style flame...

    you dont want to freeze the bearings and heat up the shaft. you want to heat up the inner race of the bearing i wouldnt use anything more than a heat gun for the bearings and freeze the shaft....

    i dont think that is a reed specific factory pipe. it is a fatter piston port pipe. the reed specific pipe has more curvature at the bottom where the stinger is.
