    Re: Bill Wilson RIP

Yeah it was really sad to hear the news. I only met Bill a few years ago in Havasu when he was pitted next to me. Super cool guy to talk with and really nice. And he loved racing, too!

Re: Here we go again...gas prices.

It's hovering around 1.49 in the detroit area. It has actually gone up a bit, It was 1.23 about a week ago. Hopefully it stays low come summertime, if we're all allowed to hang out on the lake at all.

$2.57 around my slice of metro detroit. The other day I heard that it could be around $2 this summer. I'll take it!

You definitely should go race. There will be other people there to help you with things like getting your boat to the water, holders, etc. Get an IJSBA membership (sometimes a race promoter will have...

    Re: Interchangeability Tigershark 640 93-94

Browns Leisure World is usually the site I use when researching part numbers because they have a feature where you can see what else uses that part.

    Re: Interchangeability Tigershark 640 93-94

Welcome caller! From the few things I just looked up on the parts database, the CDI, engine, ignition coil are all the same part numbers so I'd be willing to bet most of it you can use.
  10. Re: my first engine rebuild Anyone have pictures of cases with the 1211 on? or a vide

I used one of those little disposable paint rollers to evenly spread the sealant out. You don't have to, but it worked pretty good.

    Re: 1999 tsr1100 carb

Sounds like the issue I had when I switched to aftermarket flame arrestors. Like mentioned above, it's most likely low speed jetting. I jumped 10 sizes for the pilot jets and used the next weakest...

The valve in the cooling line could be there to prevent water being forced through the cooling system without the engine running if the ski was towed behind a boat. Or I guess it could be there to...

You can also replace that bladder with one from the front differential on 1998-07 Arctic Cat atv's. I put one on a long time ago and it's a lot thicker and it's 5 bucks, p/n 1402-620. There are...
