Bump, somebody has to have an old dusty pipe in a box that they don't use any more because they got a B pipe.
-
Any chance somebody knows where there is a CAD model of an SXR pump shoe out there available on the interweb somewhere?
-
I honestly wonder if they are based in US or some other country.
-
It goes on a little further but you get the gist.

He responded to my wanted ad for a mach 2 protec pipe. The pictures he used were from a thread on the X.

With the water going in right by the flange wouldn't the water flow straight into the motor, so there is no water flowing through the rest of the manifold to cool it?
-
Still on the hunt, waiting patiently.
-
It's an interesting pipe, it looks like they have just a little bit of water jacket on the section after the rubber coupler, seems like a lot of effort for just slightly more water jacket.
-
I do think the wet jet pipe is a great bang for the buck bargain though.
-
I can kinda see how a Coffman Rocket pipe (I think that's what they were called) is sorta kinda similar to the earlier pro tec pipes, but I'd have to disagree on the wet jet I'm quite familiar with...

Bump.
Just for fun, here's a completely unrelated picture of Starship.

Taking it a step further you can take a ruler and a pen and a piece of paper, do some trigonometry and make a crude pitch gauged. It's a bit of a pain in the neck to use but it works in a pinch for...
-
Couldn't somebody just set the thing on a flat surface and measure from the tip of the blade down to the surface on each blade, make them the same, and it's even.
Alternatively, set on flat...

I'd probably skip paypal and just send cash in an envelope.

He tried to get me on the Protec pipe WTB. Sent pictures that were from another site on the internet, immediately asked for my phone number and my address, wouldn't send more pictures.
On the X...

Bump
Mach 2 is easiest to identify by the angle on the joint between header and chamber, has a lean to it not vertical like other pro-tec pipes. Looks like this:

Looking for a pro tec mach 2 specifically, not interested in the mach 1 version.
I have a speedwerx dry pipe that could be used for a possible trade.
-
I've seen pics of it on a Yamaha, this picture was a 750 Kawasaki, although it probably looks about the same I suppose.
I have to admit I'm not expecting it to be anything earth shattering...just...
-
weird, anyway would be cool if somebody has a good clear picture, I'm mostly just curious.
-
WTF is there no way to edit a post?
-
Page 29 of the book there are pictures of stock, legally modified, and 'illegal but optimum' my copy of the book the pictures are just about completely blacked out, I contacted Watcon to see if they...
-
To me that looks like a stock pipe that somebody polished (did a nice job).
-
That would certainly get my attention.
-
Whenever I see something like this I always wonder...if the thing exists why not show it? If the thing does not exist why announce a non-existent thing?
I hope your thing exists and is awesome. I...

Bread that comes pre-sliced?

-
Yes still interested, pm me details please.

Looking for a Kawasaki dry pipe exhaust manifold. I will be cutting and modifying so any condition would be considered, kinda prefer not to screw up a good one and obviously cheaper is good.
-
My personal opinion they're not much fun to travel long distances, just riding from here to there. I'd take an x2 for that over a pole ski.
-
Some more thoughts, and please keep in mind I'm just throwing this stuff out there I'm no expert.
Take a look at this thread:

Kinda disagree with most of what has been said so far.
The 550 is a twin cylinder with a single carb, which is a very different situation than one carb per cylinder.
The GP800R uses I-Body...
-
I love that they have all of the "call for dyno sheets of competing brands"...don't see that today!
-
That is awesome thank you for sharing it!
-
I'm pretty sure you've got it spot on, they look like brass. Now I'm even more intrigued so I'll be drilling those out soon.
-
You're saying there are actual replaceable jets in there?
-
I have this R and D pipe I'm planning on using on an X2, appears to be a pretty nice setup, I'm guessing it is originally for a 750 because it doesn't use the "traditional" 3 bolt pattern on the head...

You need to look into a zeeltronic. Can be either total loss our charging.
-
-
To be clear, I'm not sure if that's your issue, just seems like a possibility.

As far as I can see your hoses are hooked up correctly. Your diagram is a little off though. The loop of hose between the head and the header pipe, that water is flowing FROM the head INTO the header...
-
Draw a diagram of what hoses are routed where. Take pictures of the hose connections and post them here. This includes on the pump. People on here will be able to see if there is something funky...
