    The impeller solas 12/18 is cut back 3mm but the trailing edge is still 5mm away from stator veins, I'm thinking of kicking the blades closer. I have to remember under load it will flex.

    I have a local ski ski shop, the owner ( who raced jet ski's) said, "we use to just 'dog ear' the trialing edge of the 3 blades, to bring them closer to the stator veins".

    I have never heard this...
