Re: WTB Pro Tec Mach 2 pipe

    Bump

Mach 2 is easiest to identify by the angle on the joint between header and chamber, has a lean to it not vertical like other pro-tec pipes. Looks like this:

WTB Pro Tec Mach 2 pipe

Looking for a pro tec mach 2 specifically, not interested in the mach 1 version.

I have a speedwerx dry pipe that could be used for a possible trade.

Yes still interested, pm me details please.
  14. WTB Kawasaki Dry Pipe manifold cracked/damaged any condition

Looking for a Kawasaki dry pipe exhaust manifold. I will be cutting and modifying so any condition would be considered, kinda prefer not to screw up a good one and obviously cheaper is good.
  15. Re: at what point is a stand up pwc no fun- choppy waves?

My personal opinion they're not much fun to travel long distances, just riding from here to there. I'd take an x2 for that over a pole ski.
  16. Re: Newbie needing help with Mikuni Super BN carbs on a V8.n

  17. Re: Newbie needing help with Mikuni Super BN carbs on a V8.n

Kinda disagree with most of what has been said so far.

The 550 is a twin cylinder with a single carb, which is a very different situation than one carb per cylinder.

    The GP800R uses I-Body...

  20. Re: R and D head pipe...what's up with all of these fittings?

I'm pretty sure you've got it spot on, they look like brass. Now I'm even more intrigued so I'll be drilling those out soon.
  21. Re: R and D head pipe...what's up with all of these fittings?

You're saying there are actual replaceable jets in there?
  22. R and D head pipe...what's up with all of these fittings?

I have this R and D pipe I'm planning on using on an X2, appears to be a pretty nice setup, I'm guessing it is originally for a 750 because it doesn't use the "traditional" 3 bolt pattern on the head...

Re: Upgrade to dual-cooling or stay with single?

Seems like a basically stock 650 should have not trouble at all with overheating with a stock cooling system. I would take it as an indication that something is wrong.

Factory pipe header bore size, how big?

Building a motor for an X2, will be more mid/top oriented not the "freestyle low end" that everybody seems to want.
