  1. Re: 650sx - TBM Pump Cone “pro” or swap in a different pump?

Yes, I had a C75 big hub swirl 9/17 prior to the R&D pump stuffer. I also added an R&D top loader when I did the pump stuffer, and the ski can carve really well...

  2. Re: 650sx - TBM Pump Cone “pro” or swap in a different pump?

I installed mine last, after all kinds of mods on my 650sx. I feel it gave me better acceleration, better hook up, and less cavitation at times.

No alternative to a pump stuffer. The TBM or R&D stuffer is your cheapest "mag" pump option.

    Re: Hooker 10/16

I run a C75 big hub 9/17 and R&D pump stuffer in my 650sx with 750SP with full mods and I think it has pretty good low end. Also clocks at 48mph which I don't think is too bad either.

    Re: Js550 factory pipe?

I've got one on my 440 and it works pretty good, even though I know it's probably built for 550s.

  13. Re: Questions Primer pump install on single Keihin carb

You could always just take like a dremel and make the fittings smaller and epoxy them in. Idk who sells other ones. That is a 28mm carb, most guys swap it out for a 38mm carb from a later 650 or 750...

    Re: 92 650sx worth?

$1500 is a good number. Maybe a little more on a good day. But for a little more someone could get a 750sxi so yeah. Good luck with the sale.

    Re: 650sx resto-cavitation

No the pumps are different. You may be able to get a wedge from a Kawi dealer. The 650/750/800 pumps are all the same. So get a wedge for one of those. I think you are looking for an excuse for the...

    Re: 650sx resto-cavitation

A wedge for the pump angling the nozzle down will help a lot. But any longer ride plate will help. I have the Prowatercraft Racing ride plate on mine and really like it.

    Re: reed stuffers and spacers

Reed stuffers are good, is the spacer angled? Angled spacer is supposed to help the air flow away from the crank.

    Re: 650sx resto-cavitation

With cavitation the engine will generally rev up but you won't move very far or fast. It sounds like you have something else going on.

You do NOT need the external pump with a 38mm carb.

So it uses stock flywheel and stator? What is the advantage to this advent ignition? Does it just change timing curves?

  45. Re: Carbon Fiber 650SX Hood, Questions and suggestions

No problem, I think as far as water intake goes. I think it depends on how well you channel it out on the inside layer. Not to mention this hood is made for racing, not so much rec riding and subs...
