    Re: 1997 Monte Carlo 640

I would post this on craigslist and also on the Tigershark facebook for sale forum if you haven't already. If the engine is good someone will take it off of your hands. Good lcuk and hope you can...
  2. Tigershark Daytona 1000 Carburetors $50 shipped

You might want to mention to people in this thread that you are running aftermarket flame arrestors and not the stock air box. In most cases running open air filters requires the pop off pressure to...

Very strange someone would buy one of these new and then never use it. If it had any fuel in it definitely go through the fuel system.

    Re: Low speed circuit plugged

That's what I was thinking. If that isn't it, you might need to soak it in Chem-Dip. This stuff does an excellent job of cleaning carburetors.

Re: 95 xp pop off pressure

Since you're running an aftermarket flame arrestor the stock carb settings will not be ideal. I would think running a open air filter would require the pop off pressure to be lowered. Maybe someone...

Re: 95 xp pop off pressure

My OEM manual as well as the SBT guide that I use both have the pop off pressure for a 1995 Sea Doo XP 717 as 40-56psi. Low speed screw 1-3/4 and high speed - 0.

Re: 96 xp not getting max rpm or speed

Did you put in fresh spark plugs as well? If it were me, I would take the carbs off and go through them. Today's fuels do not last long at all, that's why I always use fuel stabil in my skis.

    Re: Black Magic Intake Grates?

The older Sea Doo's have a similar bolt pattern too. I have never tried a Black Magic intake grate and have no idea if they would fit a Tigershark. Is there any part number markings on them?

    Re: New project time again!

Wow! That 98 1000 is super clean. A cutting pad and some polish will get those scratches out. My 97 Daytona was in a lot worst shape than your 98' and it came out respectable again. Good luck!
  21. Re: Need help identifying where these water lines go.

Thanks! That is exactly what I had thought, but wanted to make sure. My project Daytona 1000 started out in pieces so sometimes it can be difficult piecing the small detail items back together.
