    Re: The Question Game

    Yes
I quit drinking 28 years ago, spinning beds, headaches, cotton mouth, waking up in the wrong places. Going to bed with a beautiful woman, then waking up with an ugly one.

    Dumb Question of the day

For those of us that are follically challenged (bald), What do you wear to keep from burning your scull besides spf50?
  9. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

From what I have read the 65u sounds like the way to go for me. i would be cool to have 2 98's. I need to find a deal on a case or a whole used engine to play with. I'll find one.
    The thing that I...
  10. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

Thank you for the info sir, I think I got really lucky for the what I invested. I think I'm just going to redo the carbs and cherry this one out. I am how ever hooked on performance, so I'm looking...
  11. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

Well, mistery solved. Driftmaster you were right my compression gauge is off. Second gauge says 120 +-3 psi on all cylinders. I took a bore scope and looked in the cylinders and the pistons are...
  12. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

Driftmaster, that is a valid point. It looked to even to me compared to what I have read. Ill get another gauge and test again. I would love to work at your shop, but the commute would be a killer.
  13. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

Well, I finally brought my compression gauge home. Cold compression on all 3 holes is 115psi.....well at least they are even. I guess its ok for a 20 year old. At least it looks good now, buffed it...
  14. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

All of the posts on this thread have been a great help and I'm glad I started going threw every thing on the ski. If not I would have had a big surprise. I really want to ride in the worst way. (...
  15. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

    Ok Myself,
If I read it correctly, I drill out the orifice to 1/8 and install a 105 main jet at the end of the return line fitting and plumb the carbs according to the Novi schematic for my 98.
  16. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

    Thank you, Myself I will.
I just spent a few ours looking deeper into the ski, and found that the pivot for the steering cable was about ready to drop out of the arm,lol definetly time to decide...
  17. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

Thank's John, Sounds like I should overhaul first and play later. So that's what I'll do. Florida has long summers. I would rather go threw the whole thing now then pay the price later.
  18. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

    John,
You sound like me with my Volvo customers, it the same thing. Any way I don't think the man I got the ski from was the maintance type. That being said the ski spent most of it time in his...

  23. Re: Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

Thanks for the reply, Jonny. Believe me the mind is willing but the body's not able, I'd blow out a knee on the first jump. I'll be happy with the couch. 35 years ago it would be a different story....
  24. Is time that relative and or i think i got lucky

I hear a lot of people talking about time on a jet ski. How much is bad and how much is good. I ask because I'm new to the ski's. But not to 2 strokes. We used to pop a new slug in my RM250 every...
