    If its melted on the edge like you say more than likely its an exhaust manifold/flange leaking gasket or maybe a head gasket and water (steam) is being super heated as its being forced over the edge...

    I used micro garden solenoids, as long as they used stainless steel internals they worked perfectly. Low cost, 12volt set up.

    Took me 18 months to find one for the xpl, saw it on evil bay..... They are a great grate,keeps the ski hooked up in rough water and surf and no loss of rpms

    Sounds like it has scored the bore and lost compression in one cylinder.Need to test compression before anything else.Report back and let us know

    Get a long sharp blade and cut as much as possible, you will have to take the studs out of the rear to get it off.Keep the shims in the correct places.its not hard and it will fix your issues.

    Thats fine,1 tube should be enough as you are only doing the shoe.I seal between the ride plate and hull as well as covering the bolt holes for the ride plate
    Make sure you seal at the back around...

    Pop off will be too high with this,I run the Black 80 gram, or 65 gram,you need pop off to be under 20 psi with 2.0mm N/S

    Whatever the thickness of the reed spacers (10mm) you need to reduce the same from the top of the intake manifolds.
    When cut down it then exposes cavity's inside the manifolds where the carbs bolt...

    The 98s had issues with the bendix gear, the timing on the mpem was advanced too far under 400 rpm while cranking and it would chip teeth off

    Its lean on the high speed circuit just a little due to the r&d filter.
    Open the adjusting screws 1/4 turn,check the pop off, you want them to be no more than 20psi

    Have had a front bearing collapse on a stock 951 and the magneto would oscillate which at higher rpms cause a mis due to the magneto rubbing on the pick up.
