Re: 650sx best mods for low end

Good Marine Silicone needs 48hrs to fully set after you install the pump. You only need to silicone the pump into the tunnel. Do not silicone the intake grate or ride plate.

Get that feeler gauge out. What pitch is the impeller? Show us some numbers.

Did you silicone the pump in correctly? 650 pumps are a pain compared to 750/800 pumps.

My TS650 with only a 44SBN and Impeller will pull two people out of the hole without issue and go all the way to 35mph. The biggest difference was getting a brand new Skat from Impros. I went with...

Depends on the carb design. Some have builtin fuel pumps. Most outboard motors ARE floatbowls with a diaphragm fuel pump pulling gas from the tank in the boat. Gravity works on a motorcycle where...

Running it on the trailer and watching the exhaust water isn't a very good test. You could have different water pressure, unless you set it the same EVERY TIME before you connect the hose. Just...

Are you putting this in a boat? The Thailand guys run float carbs in the Long tail boats using Kawasaki PWC engines.

You can run float carbs, just don't tip the ski over or turn hard ;)

  17. Re: are all sbn 44s the same - are the aftermarket sbn 44s any good

I think the verdict is just buy a new one. You're going to have to re-build a used one anyway. The 44s on Yamaha/Sea-Doos are known to have different internals(from what I've read).

    44SBNs go...

Re: SX-R 800 dies at wot

  30. Re: Looking for big hub swirl 750/sxr 800 impeller

The Stock SXR prop is larger than the pump stator hub. This creates a mixed flow pump. Water has to go around a bump in your jet pump.
