    Re: 1992 Kawasaki 750sx Flatdeck

You could build up the bottom layer with some glass and epoxy resin for more strength. I would recommend epoxy for glueing all that up. It’s strong as nails and will bond to smc

    Looking good

Re: Kawasaki Jetmate-- Mods for speed increase?

We put a 1100 in one. Although I’m not done tuning I don’t think we broke 40. Just so much drag on these things. But at least it’ll get up on plane now.
  3. Re: looking for comparisons on the yamaha ex models and vx

My sons has a 2020 exr and we really like it. I’ve been impressed with the performance. We looked at modifying the ex cause he like that color better but it didn’t make sense. Lighter hull. ...

Re: Sea Doo 951 in SXR Conversion Electrical.

I love my msd on my hydrodoo. Other than some occasional pick up coils failing it’s been a good system. Always got a day of racing without charging that spark is impressive

Hopefully it didn’t mess up the cylinders yet. I would rebuild the carbs and do a leak down test once you get it back together. I remember now. Mine did something similar when I put too much...

Re: Sxi pro bending plug electrodes

You may be running real lean. I had an issue where I was lean or timing too hot Either way I believe I was gettin the electrode so hot the compression was bending it Sounds weird I know. Check...

    Re: 1100 triple cylinder overheated

Looks like it ran lean. If the cylinder is not too bad you can poor boy it and hone with new pistons but for sure the compression will be a bit low there. I’ve done it. Not the right way I know. ...

Re: 750sx VS 750sxi pro handling

I disagree the 750sx hull sucks. The pro is way better and the sxr is even easier. Or get a superjet.

    Re: Hydrodoo jetting need help

If the low speed screws don’t get you there go up on your pilot jets. The stinger jet also effects the overall jetting. More water will richen it up - more back pressure Make sure it’s not...

Re: Top Speed for '88 X-2 w/ 800 SXR motor

I suck at deep water boarding. What works for me is set the idle on the high side and start it before trying to get on. It helps stabilize it a lot

I'll throw another one out there. For a big guy the polaris octane is a super fun ski to ride. Its downside was that it didn't turn well for racing but super fun to rip on. Hard to find though
